Prince Philip is due to carry out his last official engagement today. However, against their genuflecting inclinations, The Daily Telegraph briefly became rabid revolutionaries, rushing to the barricades to publish the Duke of Edinburgh’s obituary.
The Torygraph rushed to clear up the cock-up, which had detailed ‘funeral arrangements’:
“The Duke of Edinburgh, the longest-serving consort to a monarch in British history, has died at the age of XX, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Prince Philip, whom the Queen described as her “strength and stay” during her record-breaking reign, passed away XXXXXXX
