Theresa May ignored an invitation to address thousands of NHS nurses, it has emerged on the same day she is posing as a workers’ champion.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Lib Dem leader Tim Farron have both spoken at the Royal College of Nursing’s congress in Liverpool today.
But it has been revealed that the Prime Minister didn’t even bother to reply to the RCN’s invitation.

The RCN revealed yesterday that 91% of its members are willing to take strike action after seeing their pay cut by 14% since the Tories took power.
Perhaps she wasn’t brave enough to explain why she is refusing to give nurses pay rise – despite hearing they have begun turning to food banks.
