Maya the Bee Movie, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Sharktopus and Earnest Saves Christmas all have two things in common – you’ve (hopefully) never seen them and they’re far more popular than Donald Trump.
With ratings higher than 37% on movie review website Rotten Tomatoes, these previously long forgotten films are being made to look like Hollywood blockbusters by the US Presidents’ latest approval ratings.
Just two months into the job and Trump’s popularity has sunk to a new low of 37%, according to the latest Gallup polling.
US journalists and polling geeks pointed out that means Trump has made history: securing the lowest approval rating at this stage of any US President since Gallup began polling.

Trump also had the honour of being crowned the least popular US President on their inauguration day with a 45% approval rating.
Contrast that to Barrack Obama, who began with a 68% approval rating and left office at 59%.
His lowest point was 39% – which Trump himself was quick to point out on Twitter:
@BarackObama has a record low 39% Gallup approval rating. Why so high?

But Trump is in good company in the 37% club when it comes to movies.
