The British-Dutch company Unilever has been accused of racism after hiring a dark-skinned man to bathe in chocolate, to promote a chocolate brand.

The accusations were made by Pakistani journalists and other industry attendees at an event held in the Pakistani capital Karachi earlier this week.

The controversy arose after the ice cream brand Magnum, owned by Unilever, held a launch ‘Chocolate Party’ on Wednesday 21st September.
