Lord Feldman’s hopes of survival as Conservative chairman received another hammer blow last night — with yet more claims that he was warned about bullying in the party’s youth wing well before the apparent suicide of activist Elliott Johnson.

Newsnight has reported that then activists Ben Howlett (now a Tory MP) and Patrick Sullivan handed a 20-page dossier on bullying to Feldman shortly after Howlett was elected Conservative Future chairman in September 2010.

The document detailed complaints from a number of young activists … and ‘Tatler Tory’ Mark Clarke is said to feature.

Mark Clarke strongly denies wrongdoing.
