Thought the Tories’ small business letter couldn’t have a higher content of fail?

Meet signatory number 1549, Tina Powerful of Everest School of Transformational Leadership Limited. Powerful — who also goes by the title Reverend Dr Tina Beloveth Powerful — is currently on trial for fraud after offering ‘Harvard University’ degrees out of a flat in Milton Keynes.

MKweb reports:

“Tina Beloveth-Powerful, 47, is standing trial at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court after denying offences of being a trader engaged in a commercial practice which contains false information and omitting details, fraud and offering to grant a degree.

When not offering degrees without accreditation from BIS, Beloveth Powerful runs Tina Beloveth Ministries. “Want to get closer to God? Donate generously”!

Her trial was recently adjourned owing to her outbursts in court.

  1. This page is VERY interesting. The abysmal grammar, combined with the news above, makes me question whether the qualifications claimed are genuine.

And, in the time it’s taken me to write this post, a reference on that page to her being a “Director of Harvard Business and Management School UK” has been removed. Can someone find a cached version?

  2. Further to my earlier comment — d’oh, the reference is still there, I just missed it when looking a second time:

“President/Executive Director Havard School of Management and Technology UK”

Dodgier than David Cameron’s NHS pledge.

  3. It was a big deal in the local rag a few months ago. She probably took lessons from George Smith – graduate of the University of Perugia. And a close friend of Grant/Michael/Sebastian Shapps/Green/Fox as well.

  4. “AS A GRADUATE OF HARVARD I CAN TELL YOU ALL DEGREES FROM THAT SCHOOL ARE FRAUDULENT–PAY TUITION YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT”

And with all that education you cannot find the button to stop your capitals.

    Or use a full stop.

  5. Angelo Mazzeo says:

The Tories clearly considered her highly representative of their members and supporters. I would have to concur.
