With Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day upon us, far-right cranks Britain First have been absolutely hammering their Facebook clickbait  the party are claiming that their posts have been viewed by almost 40 million people in the last week.

Along with evocative oil paintings of poppy fields, the group have also been sharing pictures of their activists “paying respects”:

How times have changed. Below is a picture of Britain First leader Paul Golding “paying respects” on a previous Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph. At this point he was reportedly a member of the, errrr, neo-Nazi linked National Front:

Yes, that is a pair of women’s knickers on his head.

Never forget, indeed.

  1. Christopher W. Davies says:

The “activist” in the right hand photograph is probably the man that put the “cunt” in “Scunthorpe!”

  2. Is that Mark Collett in the picture ? bit of an embarrassment to the BNP before it inevitably exploded – Golding would say he was being ironic with the Steve Jones of the Pistols look , still all a bit odd ?

  3. A. Layzell you can probably tell from the fact your the only comment saying that nonsense that your in the minority there, like britain first are, they lie about there numbers they lie about almost everything that a human being can lie about, and despite constant evidence you people just ignore it because you dont care for common sense.

  4. Dave the Rave says:

“Someone put them there and conveniently someone was standing there with a camera”.

Bollocks, why weren’t you attempting to remove them then?
