Point blank refusing to set out what Scotland’s currency alternative to the pound would be, Alex Salmond was booed last night during his STV debate with Alastair Darling:

This is not a first such outing for Big Eck. There was the 2012 Olympic ceremony for returning Scottish athletes:

And the, errrr, ‘raucous’ Ryder Cup golf tournament in the same year:

Salmond was also booed during the naming of HMS Queen Elizabeth last month, although Scrapbook can find no footage of the actual booing online.
