10 Downing Street door

The spectre of Rohan Silva continues to haunt the corridors of Whitehall — with the PM’s office still trying to show the tech sector that they “get it”. Cue the Pitch 10 competition (replete with #Pitch10 hashtag and a microsite on a trendy .co domain) which will see ten of “the most promising digital companies in Britain” present at Downing Street.

It was down to special adviser Daniel Korski to email the unsuccessful applicants:

#pitch10 BCC cockup

Scrapbook hopes that one of the winning presentations is entitled “how to use electronic mail”.

Infuriated techies found their failed applications (and email addresses) announced to the rest of the sector — because Number 10 staffers apparently don’t know what BCC is.
