Houses of Parliament

After the Border Agency was exposed for texting British citizens telling them they were to be deported, Labour’s shadow Home Office team have tabled the following written questions in parliament:

“How many texts have been sent by Capita on behalf of the Home Office Border Agency in the period May 2010-Oct 10th 2013 advising individuals of termination of their right to remain in the UK which has subsequently proved to have been sent in error.”

“What is the value of the contract undertaken by Capita on behalf of the border agency for managing text messaging to individuals who have not got leave to remain in the UK in each year from May 2010 – 2013.”

“How many texts have been sent by Capita on behalf of the Home Office Border Agency in the period May 2010-Oct 10th 2013 advising individuals of termination of their right to remain in the UK.”
