BNP leader, Nick Griffin, tweeted this picture of himself in Ukraine captioned “In centre of Kiev. Yankee cultural imperialism struts its stuff“.  The country’s far-right Svoboda party, allied with the BNP, has been seen to make huge gains in elections this week.

Doubtless Nick will be meeting up with some of his fascist friends.

  1. Please, please, please, point out which part of the BNP’s manifesto is fascist. I won’t hold my breath for a logical or polite answer!

  2. Martin Kennedy says:

    Hi Peejay,

    Definition of facism;

    “Fascists seek to unify their nation based on commitment to a nation state where its individuals are united together as one people through their national identity”.

    BNP policy statement;

    “The BNP is committed to putting the interests of the British people first. I invite you to review our policies and make your choice.”

  3. peejay,

    When did Nick Griffin renounce his Nazism?

    He joined the openly Nazi BNP when it was founded by long-term Nazi (see the videos on youtube) John Tyndall, the old National Front boss.

    Since then he has morphed into a ‘democrat’ but when did he make a break with racist extremism publicly? Never.

    That is proof enough for me : no democrat should have any trouble denouncing fascism – or renouncing it in Griffin’s case.
