It will be interesting to see who replaces Brown, especially if the new leader is one of the “next generation” in the Labour Party. With GenJones (the previously “lost” generation between the Boomers and Xers) leaders in charge of both the Lib Dems and the Tories and large number of Joneser MPs, we are experiencing a major generational change in politics. It looks like significant media attention accompanied the same kind of generational transition in numerous other countries, but has so far ignored it here. But I did see an interesting article about the significance of this shift in leadership last week. See:
