While David Miliband is still runaway favourite to secure the Labour leadership he has dropped to 8/13 with Ladbrokes, his lowest rating for two weeks in the face of a surge from Ed Miliband (5/2 from 3/1 yesterday) and, in particular, Andy Burnham (7/1 from 16/1 five days ago). Ed Balls is priced at 11/1; Diane Abbott was fading at 25/1 but today secured the nomination of David Lammy; left-winger John McDonnell brings up the field at 100/1.
