Nine million people are expected to see the broadcast on the terrestrial channels, which depicts the bleak future following the election of a Conservative government. After the Conservatives’ emergency Budget cuts £6 billion from public spending, three families in a typical surburban street are visited by a grey-suited government official who tells them about cuts to Child Tax Credit, Child Trust Fund payments and Labour’s cancer specialist guarantee.
