The Czech president Vaclav Klaus this afternoon signed the Lisbon treaty and landed the Tory leadership in a whole world of shit. David Cameron will come under massive pressure to renege on his “cast iron guarantee” of a referendum on the treaty and, as Shamik Das reports, the grassroots aren’t happy!
As Jessica Asato points out, we need to support Europe vocally and make it clear to the public why we do. In the meantime, however…
