Michael Caine defects to the Conservatives

After 12 years as a Labour voter, Michael Caine, who supported Thatcher in the 1980s, has told the Mail on Sunday that he will be voting for David Cameron next year: ”I don’t know what Cameron’s going to do, but in the end you … just have to have someone new and see what happens”. Caine recently burnished his “man of the people” credentials by threatening to emigrate to America if tax was increased.
