The blogosphere was left in uproar this evening by comments by a leading Conservative Party supporter. The well known Tory tweeter Kenny Everett is under fire from all sides for agitating for an assault on a frail 69 year old man:
But it appears the sick attacks of this Tory posterboy “comedian” are not limited to Twitter. Scrapbook has obtained secret footage from a closed meeting of Conservative party activists where Everett repeats the offensive remark and is then – astonishingly – joined onstage by the jubilant party leader. Disgusting.
So what do Willie Whitelaw and the curiously silent Geoffrey Howe have to say about the behaviour of their online friend? Everett should be immediately sacked from his official role as, erm…
