Have-a-go hero John Smeaton was thrown in a the deep (and promptly drowned) at a press conference to announce his candidacy in the Glasgow North East by-election. Perhaps Jury Team, who are fielding a slate of “independent” candidates in forthcoming elections, might want to, erm, brief their candidates properly?
