Congratulations to Alex Smith (@alexsmith1982) and the rest of the team at LabourList on their new site design.
The problem with the old system was that it was literally a list of everything that had been posted. Although it has been significantly blinged up from a graphics point of view the most important change is the addition of sections, which will allow visitors to skip straight to what’s interesting to them. This moves the site it in the direction of ConservativeHome (from a functionality point of view)!
Their are still a few issues, so the site seems to be oscillating between live and a “coming soon” message. Things are a bit (okay a lot) broken in Google Chrome, so some people may need to dust off Firefox to take a peek. But a brave move to relaunch so close to conference and a much better site.
